(54) Spinning machine with a slack eliminating device

(57) According to the present invention, there is provided a spinning machine having a spinning device 5 that generates and spins a yarn Y from a bundle of supplied fibers F and a bunch winding machine 19, the spinning machine being provided with a slack eliminating device 10 that retains and absorbs the slack of the yarn between a suction pipe 17 and the spinning device 5 when the yarn is guided to the bobbin holder 14b1 for a bunch winding operation. Furthermore, the running of the yarn fed by the spinning device 5 is substantially stopped near the bobbin holder. The spinning machine is provided with the slack eliminating roller 21 that retains and absorbs the slack of the yarn between the yarn catching means and the spinning device when the yarn is caught to the bobbin holder for a bunch winding operation, and the running of the yarn fed by the spinning device is substantially stopped near the bobbin holder. Therefore, compared to conventional bunch winding executed on a bobbin rotated in contact with a friction roller at a high speed, the success rate of bunch winding can be improved (Fig. 7).
