Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention is related to a dusting device for easily and quickly cleaning up the fluffs, dusts and dirt attaching to the static swab.

[0002] According to the sites to be cleaned, the conventional swabs can be divided into cotton swab, foam rubber swab and static swab. With respect to stone and wooden floorboard, a wet swab will make dirt accumulate in the capillaries of the stone and wooden floorboard. Therefore, after swabbed, such floorboard will be contaminated and lose its polish. Therefore, a dry static swab or a vacuum sucker is used to clean such floorboard. In the case that the vacuum sucker is used to clean up the dust, it is necessary to carry the cable and bellows of the vacuum sucker around. This is quite inconvenient. In addition, the vacuum sucker will produce loud noise and it is laborious to operate the vacuum sucker. Also, the vacuum sucker will consume much power. Therefore, it is a tread to replace the vacuum sucker with the static swab. The existent static swabs can be divided into two kinds. One is fluff static swab and the other is static paper swab. A static liquid is sprayed onto the fluff static swab. In use, the fluff static swab is used to clean up a floorboard, while the static paper swab is used to wipe the surface of a furniture. These two kinds of static swabs have some shortcomings in actual use as follows:

With respect to fluff static swab:

1. After swabbing a floor, the fluffs and dusts will attach to the swab. Generally, the swab is patted outdoors. This makes the dusts fly around and leads to second pollution.

2. After swabbing a floor, alternatively, the fluff layer of the swab head is detached and washed and sunned. Such cleaning procedure is quite troublesome and time-consuming. Also, the static liquid needs to be frequently sprayed onto the swab so that the consumption of the static liquid is increased.

With respect to static paper swab:

1. After wiping dusty place, the static paper is detached and discarded. This leads to increment of garbage and waste of money and also increases social cost.

2. In next use of the static paper, it is necessary to pat the static paper or clean up the dusts and dirt attaching to the static paper with a tool. This is inconvenient and not sanitary.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a dusting device for static swab, which is able to achieve the effects as follows:

1. The present invention provides a movable ducting device for static swab for domestic use.

2. The present invention provides a fixed ducting device for static swab, which can be mounted on the floor of a newly constructed building.

3. After used, by means of the dusting device, the dusts and fluffs attaching to the static swab can be quickly and easily cleaned up and it is no more necessary to pat the static swab after used so that the environment will not be second contaminated and the dirt can be conveniently cleared off.

4. The number of times of cleaning of the swab is reduced, the number of times of use of static liquid is reduced, the consumption of static paper is reduced and the amount of garbage resulting from the discarded static paper is reduced and the social cost for the garbage is reduced.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0006] The present invention includes movable and fixed types of dusting devices applicable to static swab.

[0007] Please refer to Figs. 1 to 7 which show the movable dusting device applied to the static swab. The movable dusting device has a seat body 1 formed with a static paper dusting platform 10 and a static swab dusting platform 11. The static paper dusting platform 10 is formed with an insertion connector 101 for the sucking hose of a vacuum sucker to insert therein. The insertion connector 101 can be a resilient hollow conic body for different diameters of sucking hoses to insert therein. The static paper dusting platform 10 is further formed with a dust sucking slot 102 for dusting small-size static paper swab. The static swab dusting platform 11 is formed with a dust sucking slot 111 facing upward for dusting large-size fluff static swab. The seat body 1 is further formed with internal passages 103, 112. The internal passage 103 communicates the insertion connector 101 with the dust sucking slot 102 and the internal passage 112 communicates the insertion connector 101 and the dust sucking slot 111. The static swab dusting platform 11 is formed with two slopes on two sides of the dust sucking slot 111 to facilitate the reciprocation of the static swab.

[0008] A switch 12 is disposed between the passages 103, 112 and the insertion connector 101 for selectively opening one of the passages. The switch 12 drives a movable stop board 121, whereby the stop board 121 can be switched to selectively open/close the passage 103 or the passage 112. Accordingly, the dust sucking slot 102 for the static paper swab or the dust sucking slot 111 for the fluff static swab can be selectively used.

[0009] Figs. 8 to 10 show the fixed type dusting device of the present invention, which can be fixed on a floor. The dusting device has a seat body 2 fixable on a floor. The seat body 2 is formed with a conducting hole 21 for the sucking hose of a vacuum sucker A to connect therewith. The seat body 2 is also formed with a dust sucking slot 211 facing upward. The seat body 2 is further formed with a screen 22 at the dust sucking slot for brushing the fluff static swab. The seat body 2 is further formed with internal passages 212 which communicate the conducting holes 21 with the dust sucking slot 211.

[0010] Figs. 11 to 15 show still another embodiment of the present invention, which can be previously embedded under the floor tile or the floorboard. Only the dust sucking slot is exposed to outer side. The dusting device has a hollow seat body 3. The lower side of the seat body 3 is formed with a conducting hole 31 for the sucking hose B of a vacuum sucker to connect therewith. The upper side of the seat body 3 is formed with the dust sucking slot 32. A reinforcing plate 321 is disposed in the dust sucking slot 32 for preventing the dust sucking slot from deforming. The width of the seat body 3 is larger than that of the dust sucking slot 32 so that two sides of the dust sucking slot 32 has platforms 33 covered by the floor tile or floorboard C. Accordingly, the dusting device can be previously embedded under the floor tile or the floorboard only with the dust sucking slot exposed to outer side.

[0011] The movable and fixed types of dusting devices for static swab can be directly mounted on the floor of an old building or a newly constructed building. The vacuum sucker A of the fixed type of dusting device can be mounted outdoors such as in a porch. A controlling switch is mounted indoors for controlling the vacuum sucker. The switch can have delay controlling effect. After pressed and activated, the sucking will continue for predetermined number of seconds. Then the power is automatically cut off.

[0012] The present invention has the following advantages:

1. The present invention includes movable and fixed types of seat bodies of ducting devices and can be conveniently used.

2. The structure is simple and practical. After used, a static swab can be quickly and easily cleaned up. The present invention can be operated with strength saved.

3. It is no more necessary to pat the static swab after used so that the environment will not be second contaminated.

4. The number of times of use of static liquid is effectively reduced and the replacement of static paper is effectively reduced. The number of times of cleaning of the swab is reduced.

5. The consumption of static paper and the amount of garbage are reduced.

6. When using the present invention to clean up the dust and fluff from the static swab, the using time of the vacuum sucker is shortened so that the power consumption is reduced.

7. It is no more necessary to use the vacuum sucker which can be hardly conveniently used and is used at high power consumption. By means of the present invention, it is easier and quicker to clean up the fluffs and dusts of the static swab so that the static swab can be recovered and reused.

[0013] The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
