(54)	Closures and containers in combination therewith

(57) There is described a closure (18) for use with a container neck (10). The closure comprises a cap (16) and an insert (14). The insert is adapted to be permanently adhered to the container neck and has a sealing surface. The cap comprises a complimentary sealing surface for sealable engagement with the sealing surface provided on the insert and engagement means (48) for releasable engagement with complimentary engagement means (32) provided on the container neck.
