PURPOSE
[0001] This invention refers to a van the publicity side panels of which are provided or
not provided with integrated illuminations on its peripheries, thanks to which the
van achieves night visualization of advertisements of products and services, at present
not possible in vans made all over the world, urban and interurban.
HISTORY
[0002] Throughout the world transport and merchandise distribution vans are already known,
which are provided with side panels for exhibiting and disclosing commercial publicity
of products and services.
[0003] The van-type vehicle with side panels for advertising products and services has been
used for a long time. It can be seen that these vans have deficiencies in their projects
as regards seeing the publicity on their side panels when day turns to night and during
the night, with the result that said publicity on the side panels of the vans has
a reduced or almost null effect during this night time period.
[0004] Taking into account this deficiency in the vans at present manufactured in the sector,
as well as vans in use, the arrangement of illuminated side panels, purpose of this
invention, has been designed, in order to overcome the problem.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION,
[0005] The van described in this invention has its side panels for publicity characterized
by the fact they are provided, or not provided, with integrated illumination on the
periphery. They are electrically supplied by the conventional electrical system of
the vehicle itself, and the illumination control is linked to the control of the van's
front headlights. The accessory illumination is planned for vans already being used
and is conventionally attached by screws with the lights falling solely and directly
on the van's panel for publicity, with the control interconnected to the control of
the front headlights.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0006] In order to better understand this description, attached are some drawings which,
for the purpose of example only, present a practical performance case of the van with
illuminated publicity side panels.
[0007] In said drawings, figure 1 is a perspective view of the van with illuminated publicity
side panels.
[0008] In accordance with said drawing, the van with illuminated publicity side panels,
purpose of this invention, has conventional panels for publicity (1) provided with
illumination (3) on its periphery (2) with illuminated rays (4) falling solely on
the publicity area (1). The illumination (3) is provided with energy by the conventional
electrical system (5) of the vehicle itself and the referenced illumination (3) is
controlled by the same control (6) of the front headlights.
DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED PERFORMANCE
[0009] The illuminated panel for publicity on the van, according to figures 2, 3, 4 and
5, consists of a director (8) attached by screws (13) to the periphery (2) of the
publicity panel (1), preferably the lower part, of the van. The lamp (15) on the inside
is attached on the support (11) which, in turn is screwed onto the publicity panel
(14) of the van. The electrical wiring (5) is interconnected to the electrical system
of the van and controlled by the button to turn on the front headlights of the van.
The whole set of this invention could also be applied to the door of the commercial
vehicle where publicity is posted. This could make it more efficient as it could be
maintained in a visible way on the vehicle at night when the front headlights of the
van are on. The application of this invention to the side of bus-type vehicle is also
envisaged.
1. Van with illuminated publicity side panels, understood to be provided with side panels
for conventional publicity (1), characterized by the fact that its periphery (2) is provided, with integrated, or not integrated,
illuminations (3) for new vehicles, which are attached by screws on the side for vehicles
already being used, with illuminating rays (4) falling solely on the publicity area
(1), supplying the illuminations (3) with energy by the electrical system of the van.
The control for connecting and disconnecting the illuminations is interconnected to
the connecting and disconnecting button (6) of the front headlights of the van.
