(57) The present invention concerns a mounting system (1) for at least one fixture (4), including a ceiling panel (2) with a top side and an underside which is provided with a covering, and where in the ceiling panel (2) there is made a preferably rectangular, elongated opening (8) with a number of side edges, and at least one fixture box (3) which is provided with at least one open side, where the open side of the fixture box (3) is connected with the top side of the ceiling panel (2).
