(57) The invention concerns a ventilation system for ventilating an accommodation in a building, with an air supply and an air exhaust and with resources for controlling the quantity allowed fresh air and/or the removed quantity used air and a control unit for controlling the control appliances, where the system includes preferably one or more sensors that perform measurements to air in the building and provide an indication concerning the nature of the air supply and/or air exhaust and of which the measurement data are used by the control unit for controlling the control appliances.
