(54)	Tamper-evident container with reclosable fastener and method for making

(57) An improved, tamper-evident container (10) having a reclosable zipper-type fastener (12) useful for providing access to the interior of the container (10) is disclosed. The reclosable fastener (12) is characterised by a pair of mating sealing strips (14,16) wherein each one of the pair is attached to a common surface of the container (10). The container (10) is further characterised by the provision of a security seal to provide a tramper-evident closure for the container (10) until it is initially opened.
