(54) Organic electroluminescent device and method of manufacturing the same


(57) The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescent device and a method of manufacturing the same for enhancing brightness of the organic electroluminescent device. The organic electroluminescent device includes a panel protecting film (20) having the transmissibility of visible light of not less than about 50% and the transmissibility of ultraviolet rays of not more than about 5%, and attached onto the luminescent surface (1A) of a glass substrate (1). Here, it is desirable that the panel protecting film (20) has the transmissibility of visible light of about 70%.
A color compensating film attached on the luminescent surface which selectively filters light of a predetermined wavelength is also claimed.
