[0002] In the bed industry and field of bed accessories such as mattresses, sprung bed bases and the like, ever increasing attention is being paid to creating optimal conditions for the user.
[0003] The optimization of beds and their accessories is aimed at increasing the comfort of the user, whose demands and physical characteristics can vary widely from person to person, and also at improving the hygienic conditions of beds, in addition to finding, from an orthopedic point of view, a correct support for the spine and skeletal apparatus in general.
[0004] A mattress cover with a massaging action representing the closest state of the art of the present invention is known from document JP 07039438.
[0005] An objective of the present invention is to produce a mattress cover with a massaging action which improves the user's comfort.
[0006] A further objective of the present invention is to provide a mattress cover with a massaging action which improves the hygiene of the bed.
[0007] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a mattress cover with a massaging action which exerts a relaxing action when asleep.
[0008] Yet another objective of the present invention to provide a mattress cover with a massaging action which is particularly simple and functional, with limited costs.
[0009] These objectives according to the present invention are achieved by providing a mattress cover with a massaging action as illustrated in claim 1.
[0010] Further characteristics of a mattress cover with a massaging action are object of the dependent claims.
[0011] The characteristics and advantages of a mattress cover with a massaging action according to the present invention will appear more evident from the following illustrative and non-limiting description, referring to the enclosed schematic drawings, in which:
figure 1 is a perspective view of a mattress cover with a massaging action positioned between a mattress and a sheet;
figure 2 is a detail in an enlarged plan of the mattress cover of figure 1;
figure 3 shows a sectional detail of figure 2 according to the outline III-III;
figure 4 schematically shows a mattress cover with a massaging action according to the present invention produced as a bag lining.
[0012] With reference to the figures, these illustrate a mattress cover with a massaging action indicated as a whole with 10 and suitable for being positioned between a mattress 11 and a sheet 12, shown in figure 1 partially in cross section. The mattress cover 10 comprises a basic length of fabric 13 and protruding elements 14, i.e. balls made of compact fabric, firmly connected to the base cover 13 by means of binding elements 15 and arranged either on a portion of the cover, for example a central portion, or on the whole surface.
[0013] The protruding elements 14, which in the embodiment illustrated are only applied on one side of the base cover 13, but which can also be applied on both sides, are aligned and equidistant on parallel rows, in which adjacent rows are preferably reciprocally positioned so that the protruding elements 14 of one row are aligned with the centre line between two protruding elements 14 of the other rows, as shown in the enlarged detail of figure 2.
[0014] The protruding elements 14 are preferably balls of wool or other material firmly applied to the base cover 13, which is made of wool or cotton. The binding elements 15, schematically shown in the enlarged and sectional detail of figure 3, are made, for example, of polyester.
[0015] The mattress cover 10 according to the present invention can be rectangular-shaped, for example 1.75 m high or in any case at least 1.5 m high and can be placed on top of the mattress 11 and can be removably applied, for example by means of elastics, not shown, or can be tucked around it.
[0016] Alternatively, the mattress cover can be stably applied, for example, sewn, to one or both of the main surfaces of the mattress. On one side, for example, the mattress cover can be applied with a woolen base and on the other side with a cotton base, providing a summer side and a winter side of the mattress.
[0017] Furthermore, one or more base lengths can be sewn to form a mattress cover consisting of a bag lining 10', shown in figure 4. The bag lining 10', suitable for containing the mattress 11 has an opening 16 on one side for its insertion. The mattress cover 10' is produced, for example, with a first base cover made of cotton and a second base cover made of wool, each of which having protruding elements 14 on the main outer surface.
1. A mattress cover with a massaging action comprising at least one basic length of fabric
(13) suitable for being positioned between a mattress (11) and a sheet (12), at least
a portion of the cover (13) having a series of protruding elements (14) on at least
one side, characterized in that said protruding elements (14) are made of a compact fabric consisting of balls of
wool and are firmly connected to said cover (13) by means of binding elements (15).
2. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that said base cover (13) has said protruding elements (14) distributed on the whole surface.
3. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that said base cover (13) is made of cotton.
4. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that said base cover (13) is made of wool.
5. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that said binding elements (15) are made of polyester.
6. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that said protruding elements (14) are aligned and equidistant on parallel rows.
7. The mattress cover according to claim 6, characterized in that adjacent lines of said parallel rows are reciprocally positioned with said protruding
elements (14) of one row aligned with the centre line between two protruding elements
(14) of the other rows.
8. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that said base cover (13) is rectangular-shaped with a height of at least 1.5 m.
9. The mattress cover according to claim 8, characterized in that said base cover (13) is rectangular-shaped with a height of at least 1.75 m.
10. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that it can be removably applied to said mattress (11).
11. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that said base cover (13) is sewn onto at least one side of said mattress (11).
12. The mattress cover according to claim 11, characterized in that a woolen base cover (13) and a cotton base cover (13) are sewn onto opposite sides
of said mattress (11).
13. The mattress cover according to claim 1, characterized in that one or more base covers (13) form a bag lining (10') suitable for containing a mattress,
said protruding elements (14) being contemplated on the main outer surfaces of said
bag lining (10').
14. The mattress cover according to claim 13, characterized in that said bag lining (10') consists of a cotton base cover (13) on one side and a woollen
base cover (13) on the opposite side.
1. Matratzenschoner mit einer Massagewirkung, der mindestens eine Basislänge von Gewebe

2. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die vorspringenden Elemente (14) bei dem Basisschoner (13) auf der gesamten Oberfläche
verteilt sind.
3. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Basisschoner (13) aus Baumwolle hergestellt ist.
4. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Basisschoner (13) aus Wolle hergestellt ist.
5. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bindeelemente (15) aus Polyester hergestellt sind.
6. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die vorspringenden Elemente (14) in parallelen Reihen ausgerichtet und gleich beabstandet
sind.
7. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass benachbarte Linien der parallelen Reihen reziprok positioniert sind, wobei die vorspringenden
Elemente (14) einer Reihe mit der Mittellinie zwischen zwei vorspringenden Elementen
(14) der anderen Reihen ausgerichtet sind.
8. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Basisschoner (13) eine rechteckige Form mit einer Höhe von mindestens 1,5 m aufweist.
9. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Basisschoner (13) eine rechteckige Form mit einer Höhe von mindestens 1,75 m
aufweist.
10. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er entfernbar auf die Matratze (11) aufgelegt werden kann.
11. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Basisschoner (13) auf mindestens eine Seite der Matratze (11) genäht ist.
12. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Basisschoner (13) aus Wolle und ein Basisschoner (13) aus Baumwolle auf gegenüberliegende
Seiten der Matratze (11) genäht sind.
13. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein oder mehrere Basisschoner (13) ein Futter (10') bilden, das geeignet ist, um
eine Matratze zu enthalten, wobei die vorspringenden Elemente (14) als sich an den
äußeren Hauptflächen des Futters (10') befindend betrachtet werden.
14. Matratzenschoner nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Futter (10') aus einem Basisschoner (13) aus Baumwolle auf einer Seite und einem
Basisschoner (13) aus Wolle auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite besteht.

2. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite partie de couverture de base (13) possède lesdits éléments en saillie (14)
répartis sur toute la surface.
3. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite partie de couverture de base (13) est constituée de coton.
4. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite partie de couverture de base (13) est constituée de laine.
5. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits éléments de liaison (15) sont constitués de polyester.
6. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits éléments en saillie (14) sont alignés et équidistants selon des rangées parallèles.
7. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que des lignes adjacentes desdites rangées parallèles sont réciproquement positionnées
avec lesdits éléments en saillie (14) d'une rangée alignés avec la ligne centrale
séparant deux éléments en saillie (14) des autres rangées.
8. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite partie de couverture de base (13) est de forme rectangulaire avec une hauteur
d'au moins 1,5 m.
9. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que ladite partie de couverture de base (13) est de forme rectangulaire avec une hauteur
d'au moins 1,75 m.
10. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il peut être placé, de façon amovible, sur ledit matelas (11).
11. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite partie de couverture de base (13) est cousue sur au moins un côté dudit matelas
(11).
12. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce qu'une couverture de base en laine (13) et une partie de couverture de base en coton
(13) sont cousues sur des côtés opposés dudit matelas (11).
13. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'une ou plusieurs parties de couvertures de base (13) forment une alèse (10') prévue
pour contenir un matelas, lesdits éléments en saillie (14) étant prévus sur les surfaces
externes principales de ladite alèse (10').
14. Couvre-matelas selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que ladite alèse (10') consiste en une partie de couverture de base en coton (13) sur
un côté et en une partie de couverture de base en laine (13) sur le côté opposé.
