OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present specification refers to a Patent of Invention application corresponding
to a one-piece window, the object of which is based on being configured as a window
which may be applied in any appropriate space, according to the size of the window
itself, which may vary its dimensions according to the type of mould used for the
dimensions thereof, being configured as a window which is established and manufactured
in accordance with the pertinent casting of the material which makes up said window
in a mould, which when unlocked brings about a window body which may be circular,
rectangular or square, obtained in a single piece, in which the pertinent opening
and closure elements are fixed, equally obtained in a one-piece manner, without the
use of any type of profiling to configure the window frame or sash, as well as for
the closure elements.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0002] This invention has its application within the industry dedicated to the manufacture
of windows and the like.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] The applicant is aware of the current existence of a great number of windows, made
in wood, and iron, plastic and aluminium profiling, which are manufactured by welding
or fixing them together and even by tongue and grooving in the case of wooden windows,
resulting after installation in the formation of the window frame or sash to which
the closure elements made up of the sliding or tilting sheets are fixed.
[0004] However, the applicant is not aware of the current existence of any window configured
in one-piece, that is, that both the frame and the closure sheets thereof are manufactured
in a single body, forming the body on the one hand, and the closure elements on the
other, and all these obtained within a mould, with the possibility of being manufactured
in aluminium, plastic or any other suitable material, and which permits the moulding
thereof.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The one-piece window set forth by the invention is configured as a solution to the
existing current drawbacks, specifically facilitating both the assembly of the window
itself and the elements forming it.
[0006] More specifically, the one-pieces window object of the invention is made up of a
frame, sash or ring, obtained according to the required measurements within a mould,
which after mould release results in obtaining said frame to which the closure elements
are fixed in the form of latches or retaining links, fixing the parts constituting
the closure itself, such as the sheets, and consequently obtaining a one-piece body
which is fixed on the face of the wall or suitable site by conventional means.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0007] In order to complement the description being made and with the object of aiding towards
a better understanding of the features of the invention, a set of drawings is enclosed
with the present specification as an integral part thereof, in which in an illustrative
and non-limiting manner the following has been represented:
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the object of the invention, corresponding to
a one-piece window, in which the closure part is partially open.
Figure 2 shows a front elevational view of the object shown in Figure 1, in which
the closure part is totally open and in an upright position.
Figure 3 finally shows a view of the invention with the closure part in its locking
position, and the fixing elements equally coupled.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0008] In view of these figures, it can be observed how the one-piece window (1) is made
up of a frame or sash (2) made of a one-piece body and obtained within a mould by
casting of the constituting material, independently from whether this is plastic or
metal, resulting in the inner area of a closure part or sheet (3), and arranging the
frame or sash (2) with stepping (4) and (4') cooperating to maintain the sheet in
an open position and preventing the displacement thereof towards the lower portion,
limiting the rotation thereof.
[0009] Fixed on the frame (2) is a retention element (6) which in cooperation with the closure
body (5) having a latch (7), generates the immobilisation of part (3) on the frame
or sash (2), having a handle in order to facilitate both mobilisation of the latch
(7) and for the pulling and opening of the part (3).
[0010] Finally, it must be indicated that the frame or sash (2) has projections (9) on two
opposite areas in the way of semicircular areas preventing part (3) from moving outwardly
on either side, remaining perfectly locked by the cooperation of the latch (7) projecting
from the carrying element (5).
1. A one-piece window, intended for being fixed over existing spaces in inner walls,
exterior walls and wall faces, characterised by being made up of a frame or sash (2) and a closure part (3), both manufactured in
metallic or plastic materials, obtained by moulding inside an appropriately sized
mould, the frame or sash (2) having two projections of semicircular configuration
located at opposite points within the frame or sash (2), internally coupling a closure
sheet (3), provided with an element (5) carrying a latch (7) which is mobilised by
means of a pulling element (8) and is coupled in a retaining part (6) fixed to the
frame or sash (2).
