(54) Blocking system of the funnel onto the tank body particularly for the disposal of used cooking oils

(57) Rectangular tank body (1), equipped with a detachable funnel (2), a plug (3), and in material continuity an upper gripping handle (1A). The handle (1A) forms a bridge structure above the upper wall (IB) of the tank. The funnel (2) can be stored between the upper wall (IB) and the handle (1A).

Description

[0001] In connection with the surrounding protection has particular importance the disposal of some kinds of waste and among these the used oils. The invention refers to a high density polythene tank particular for mineral and vegetable oils finalized to the collecting of home used oils and to the subsequent disposal of said oils used in cooking, in the refectories or similar. Said tank, to be provided in different dimensions and shapes, 100% recyclable and with almost unlimited duration, has a big importance such as it permits, after to have actuated any kind of frying, to collect and then to transport the cooking used oils to the disposal point. For this aim a lot of tanks with particular shapes are known, as for instance the tank described in the Italian Patent BO2003A 000623. Said tank solves the problem but it has some drawbacks that limit its use both in case of home use than in case of no private use such as refectories, restaurants, public locals or manifestations where is provided the distribution of foods. Infact, the tank described in the Italian Patent BO2003A 000623, has a removable funnel only to be placed into the oil inlet hole so creating problems during the transport and the storage and particularly inside the home where the funnel, after the different uses, must be separately put as to the tank body. Moreover the particular shape of said tank body generates high production costs which are not compatible with the market requests for example in case of public bodies that have the necessity of a low cost product. The above cited drawbacks are solved to the production of the invented tank that determines: a) a tank body of different dimensions and shapes but always in "cheap" version; b) a tank body in the upper part of which, in position under the handle, a funnel blocking system is provided that permits to the funnel to be placed and blocked onto the tank body; and c) a tank body with a sole hole for inlet/outlet to be closed with an anti-unscrewing plug. In particular the blocking system of the funnel onto the tank body facilitates for the manufacturer and for the seller the storage and transport phases such as a body more compact is created. From the point of view of the users, instead, very important is the fact to can place quickly and steady the funnel onto the tank so avoiding its breaking or its loss. Other characteristic is given to the presence of the safety plug that, in particular in home situation, avoids risks for the children. The improvements above cited are obtained with the system and the obtained tank object of the present invention consists only of three high density polythene components: a tank body 1, a funnel 2 and a plug 3. Said tank body 1, with an ideally rectangular shape with rounded angles, has in material continuity an upper handle 1 A that permits the gripping of the tank and it forms a bridge structure that is over the upper wall 1B of the tank onto which is to be placed and blocked, in transport and no use phases, the funnel 2 upside-down. Said funnel 2, consisting of a cylindrical body of insertion 2A and of a conical part 2B, is blocked, through undercuts provided on the handle 1A, or relief parts provided onto the upper wall 1B, or other suitable means, to the tank body 1. This integrated blocking tank/funnel permits to have the funnel 2 connected to the tank 1 so creating a compact unit 1, 2 advantaging to the transport point of view and in particular during the use such as the tank 1 is full, in the major number of cases, in subsequent phases so with the necessity to put the tank onto a shelf or inside a furniture, such as a sink. The fundamental characteristic to have created the upper wall 1B onto which to block the funnel 2 avoid, in relation, that the same funnel created a oneself body to must be placed in separated position in comparison with the tank 1. The tank body then provides, always in its upper part, a protruding cylindrical body 1C with inlet/outlet hole for the oil to be closed with anti-screwing plug 3. Moreover the tank 1 provides, on one or both the lateral faces, areas 1D onto which in the known ways writings of other referring elements are reported. The blocking system, during the no use phase, forms a compact unit 1, 2 consisting of the tank body and of the funnel whereas, in using phase, unblocked the funnel 2 for simply manual action, possible thanks to the elasticity proper of the plastic material, the same funnel is inserted or screwed by means of its cylindrical body 2A into the protruding cylindrical body 1C from which previously the plug 3 was unscrewed. Ending the pouring phase of the used oil, the funnel 2 is cleaned and blocked again, always for manual pressure, onto the upper wall 1B with seal given to the handle 1A. In an embodiment the funnel 2 provides, to protect the inlet oil hole, a small sieve plate 4 that prevents to the different impurities to go on inside the tank with the used oil. Said sieve plate 4 to be provided in a sole body with the funnel 2 or also like an accessory to be placed into the hole of the funnel 2. The tank 1 is to be provided in different dimensions and shapes on the base of the different use necessities so as different are to be the blocking systems of the funnel 2 between the handle 1A and the upper wall 1B. A preferred embodiment of the tank to be obtained with the invented system is illustrated in a merely indicative way in the drawing of sheets 1, 2 and 3. In sheet 1 is illustrated the tank during the no use phase. In detail figure 1 is top view to show the funnel 2 in blocking position onto the wall 1B. Figure 2 is lateral view of the tank/funnel unit. Figure 3 is perspective view. In sheet 2 is illustrated the tank in use phase. Figure 4 is lateral view with the funnel in position. Figure 5 is view to the other side. Figure 6 is perspective view. In sheet 3 is illustrated the embodiment with the funnel 2 equipped with the sieve plate 4. In details figure 7 is view of the funnel with the sieve plate in blocking position. Figure 8 is view of the funnel with the sieve plate in use position.
