[0001] Lid for bottles or containers, of the type that comprises a central portion, and
another peripheral portion, with an area and an outer closing that adapts to the perimeter
of the mouth of the bottle or container to be covered, sealing it, characterized in
that in the referred area, made of gum or similar, of the peripheral portion has been
carried out at least one perforation, that crosses the referred area, and in that
in addition said perforation: under conditions of equal or similar pressure between
the inner part of the bottle and the outer part of this one, thanks to the elasticity
of the gum or similar, resumes staying closed, and under conditions of different pressure
between the inner part of the bottle and the outer part of the same one, said pressure
opens or separates the perforation, that is at least one, allowing the gas interchange
with the outer part.
BACKGROUNDS OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Thus it is known the European Patent n° 0965298 of BRAUN GMBH, that refers to a lid
to cover a pot, specially a home apparatus driven by a motor, being arranged, to tight
the inner part of the pot with respect to the environment between the upper edge of
the pot and the lid, a joint that, during the closing, is compressed and it becomes
deformed towards a free space, being foreseen in the lid, in the zone of the contact
surface of the lid, at least one groove that joins the free space with the environment.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0003] It is well-known that when a bottle, with a product, is introduced inside microwaves
or ovens and is heated, it is necessary or to open it, or to use lids with ventilation,
or if a transparent film has been put previously, to perforate this film, because
if not the gaseous pressure of the inner part of the bottle moves or releases the
lid or protector of the bottle.
[0004] It is applicable, too, to the pots that cooking need a valve, like the one distributed
by the company MANUFACTURAS GENERALES DE FERRETERIA, S.A..
[0005] The present invention is developed within the idea to make easier the task of food
manipulation, in such a way that when we have a bottle or container with foods inside
within the refrigerator, the bottle or container can be heated without opening it,
nor having to perforate openings or to cut in the protective film.
[0006] Thus the mentioned inventors have developed a new lid, with the technical characteristic
that under normal conditions of pressure, that it means, the outer pressure is identical
or similar to the one of the inner part of the bottle, does not release the gases
of the inner part of the bottle, and under conditions where there is an unbalance
between the pressures, it releases part of gases of the inner part of the bottle in
order to balance the pressures.
[0007] It is an object of the present invention, a lid for bottles or containers, of the
type that comprises a central portion, and another peripheral portion, with an area
and an outer closing that adapts to the perimeter of the mouth of the bottle or container
to be covered, sealing it, characterized in that in the referred area, made of gum
or similar, of the peripheral portion has been carried out at least one perforation,
that crosses the referred area, and in that in addition said perforation: under conditions
of equal or similar pressure between the inner part of the bottle and the outer part
of this one, thanks to the elasticity of the gum or similar, resumes staying closed,
and under conditions of different pressure between the inner part of the bottle and
the outer part of the same one, said pressure opens or separates the perforation,
that is at least one, allowing the gas interchange with the outer part.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

to the present description, in which a practical case of an embodiment has been reproduced,
which is mentioned only for exemplificative, non limitative of the scope of the present
invention:

is a pressure identical or similar on both sides of the lid.

different pressure between the inner part of the bottle and the outer part.
CONCRETE EMBODIMENT OF THE PRESENT PATENT APPLICATION
[0009] Thus in figure 1 it is illustrated a central portion 5, an area 1 made of a material
like gum or similar, an outer closing 2 and perforations 3,4.
[0010] In the figure 2a is represented the area 1 and perforation 3.
[0011] In the figure 2b is shown the area 1, the perforation 3 and gases 6.
[0012] Thus, in a concrete embodiment, the lid is fitted onto the bottle or container (not
illustrated in the drawings), so that the outer closing 2 adapts to the perimeter
of the mouth of the bottle or container to cover, sealing it.
[0013] It is necessary to remark that as a consequence of the use of a gum or similar (fig.
2a) these perforations 3,4 under conditions of equal or similar pressure between the
inner part of the bottle and the outer part, thanks to the elasticity of the gum or
similar, resumes keeping closed.
[0014] Later the bottle or container with the lid object of the present invention is heated,
for example, in microwaves. By the action of the heat a series of gases 6 become free,
that increase pressure in the inner part of the bottle or container.
[0015] When there is a certain unbalance between the pressure of the inner part and the
outer part of the bottle or container (fig.2b), these gases 6, by means of the pressure
that exert on the lid, move the area 1, that, as a consequence that it is made of
gum or similar, has a certain degree of elasticity, leaving (the gases) to the outer
part by the orifice 3, that increases its size when the pressure on area 1 is increased.
[0016] When said pressure on area 1 finishes, perforation 3 returns to its starting point,
preventing the gas interchange with the outer part.
[0017] Two different types of perforations have been represented, cylindrical orifices 3
and longitudinal cuts 4, but we all understand that they can adopt any type of configuration
and number depending of the necessities.
[0018] The present patent describes a new lid for bottles or containers. The examples mentioned
here are not limitatives of the present invention, for that reason it will be able
to have different applications and/or be adapted, all of them within the scope of
the following claims.
1. Lid for bottles or containers, of the type that comprises a central portion (5), and
another peripheral portion with an area (1) and an outer closing (2) that adapts to
the perimeter of the mouth of the bottle or container to be covered, sealing
it, characterized in that in the referred area (1), made of gum or similar, of the peripheral portion has been
carried out at least one perforation (3,4), that crosses the referred area (1), and
in that in addition said perforation (3,4):
- under conditions of equal or similar pressure between the inner part of the bottle
and the outer part of this one, thanks to the elasticity of the gum or similar, resumes
staying closed, and
- under conditions of different pressure between the inner part of the bottle and
the outer part of the same one, said pressure opens or separates the perforation (3,4),
that is at least one, allowing the gas (6) interchange with the outer part.
2. Lid in accordance with claim 1 characterized in that the mentioned perforation (3), that is at least one, is a cylindrical orifice.
3. Lid in accordance with claim 1 characterized in that the referred perforation (4), that is at least one, is a longitudinal cut.
