(57) The present invention provides a lantern having a light housing which allows a 360 DEG radiation of light, said light housing including a light source and being pivotally connected to a lantern body by a rotational means, said body being of a generally rectangular construction having said rotational means off-set from a longitudinal axis of said body, said lighting housing being able to rotate so as to cross said longitudinal axis of said body.
