BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(a) Field of the Invention
[0001] The invention relates to a stool device having deodorization function, and more particularly,
to a stool device having an appropriate routing pipeline for eliminating odor sources,
thereby preventing disturbances caused by a lavatory in use and ensuring good air
quality in the lavatory.
(b) Description of the Prior Art
[0002] Excretion and defecation are natural physical activities of human beings. It is inevitable
that excretion after biological reactions has foul smells and may even be as bad as
unbearable due to diet reasons. Discomfort caused by such odors not only exists when
one excretes in a lavatory, but also incurs disturbances and irritations a subsequent
user of the lavatory. The aforesaid occurrence is embarrassing for both precedent
and subsequent users of the toilet. Although an exhaust fan can be installed in the
lavatory to discharge air, it is yet unavoidable for the user to bear the odors owing
to a position of the exhaust fan and airflows. In addition, odors from excretion are
likely diffused into air, and thus the odors can only be gradually eliminated with
a certain period of ventilation operation using the fan after excretion, meaning that
the subsequent user remains inescapable from the disturbances and discomforts caused
by the odors. Having to confront torment by daily physical behavior, it is essential
task of industrialist to provide a solution that effectively solves the aforesaid
issues.
[0003] In view of the aforesaid issues of disturbances caused be excretion odors and unsatisfactory
design of prior stools, the invention provides a stool device having deodorization
function for offering better hygiene and comfort.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The primary object of the invention is to provide a stool device having deodorization
function, in that the a stool device is capable of rapidly eliminating foul smells
and odors from excretion and defecation, thereby preventing disturbances when using
a lavatory as well as maintaining good air quality of the lavatory.
[0005] To accomplish the aforesaid object, a stool device having deodorization function
according to the invention comprises a stool body and a deodorizing device. The deodorizing
device has an exhaust fan that draws air from an air inlet via a routing pipeline,
and an air inlet located at an appropriate position of the stool body and for rapidly
drawing odors of excretion that is further discharged via the routing pipeline.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0007] To better understand objects, technical characteristics and effects of the invention,
detailed descriptions shall be given with the accompanying drawings below.
[0008] Referring to FIG. 1 showing a stool device having deodorization function in a first
embodiment according to the invention, the invention comprises a stool device 10 and
a deodorizing device 20. The stool device 10 has a stool body 11, a water closet 12,
and a seat 13 and a stool cover 14 pivotally disposed at a rear seat plane 111 of
the stool body 11. The seat 13 has a rear side thereof disposed with a protruding
edge 131 for closely joining with the stool body 11, so as to provide a rear section
of the seat 13 with optimal anti-pressure effects. The deodorizing device 20 has an
air inlet 21 located at the rear seat plane 111 of the stool body 11 and also at a
front edge of a pivotal joint of the seat 13; a discharging channel 22 connected with
the air inlet 21 and located in the stool body 11; a discharging pipeline 23 in communication
and connected with the discharging channel 22, and located between a floor and a wall;
an exhaust fan 24 disposed at an appropriate position at an upper end of the discharging
pipeline 23, and also usually located at a ceiling; and a filter 26 devised at the
air inlet 26 and for preventing incoming of alien objects.
[0009] To put the stool device having deodorization function according to the invention
to use, the exhaust fan 24 is first activated to allow the air inlet with air drawing
effects. When one is at the lavatory, odors of excretion in the stool body 11 are
rapidly drawn by suction forces of the air inlet 21, and are discharged via the discharging
channel 22 and the discharging pipeline 23 in sequence. Not only a user is free from
disturbances caused by the lavatory in use, but also a subsequent user is prevented
from perplexities incurred by odors from a precedent user, thereby ensuring enhanced
sanitary quality of the lavatory.
[0010] Referring to FIG. 2 showing a stool device having deodorization function in a first
embodiment according to the invention, the invention comprises a stool device 10 and
a deodorizing device 30. The stool device 10 has a stool body 11, a water closet 12,
and a seat 13 and a stool cover 14 pivotally disposed at a rear seat plane 111 of
the stool body 11. The seat 13 has a rear side thereof disposed with a protruding
edge 131 for closely joining with the stool body 11. The deodorizing device 30 has
an air inlet 312 located at the rear seat plane 111 of the stool body 11; a discharging
channel 32 connected with the air inlet 312 and located in the stool body 11; a discharging
pipeline 33 in communication and connected with the discharging channel 32, and located
between a floor and a wall; an exhaust fan 34 disposed at an appropriate position
at an upper end of the discharging pipeline 33; and a flat air inlet tube 31 in communication
and connected with the air inlet 312, located behind the rear seat plane 111 of the
stool body 11, having an air inlet opening 311 and serving for discharging odors from
using the lavatory via the routing pipeline.
[0011] Referring to FIG. 3 showing a stool device having deodorization function in a third
embodiment according to the invention, the invention comprises a stool device 10 and
a deodorizing device 40. The stool device 40 a stool body 11, a water closet 12, and
a seat 13 and a stool cover 14, wherein the seat 13 has a groove 132 at a rear lower
edge thereof. The deodorizing device 40 has an air inlet tube 41 embedded at the groove
132 of the seat 13. When the seat 13 is lowered, the air inlet tube 41 in form of
a flat structure is located at the rear seat plane 111 of the stool body 11; and has
a front end thereof provided with an air inlet opening 411 for drawing odors from
using the lavatory, and a rear end thereof provided with a flexible joint 412 for
connecting to a discharging channel 42 of the stool body 11, wherein the discharging
channel 42 is connected with a discharging pipeline 43 and guided by a tube of an
exhaust fan 44.
[0012] Referring to FIGS. 4A and 4B showing a stool device having deodorization function
in a fourth embodiment according to the invention, the invention comprises a stool
device 10 and a deodorizing device 50. The stool device 10 has a stool body 11, a
water closet 12, and a seat 13 and a stool cover 14. The seat 13 has a lower rear
side thereof disposed with a sealed section 130, which is provided with an inlet groove
134 in form of an open groove at an inner side thereof and a groove opening 133. The
deodorizing device 50 has an air inlet tube 51 as a flat flexible tube. The air inlet
tube 51 has an air inlet 511 at a front end thereof. The air inlet 511 is located
at the groove opening 133 of the seat 13. When the seat 13 is lowered, odors from
using the lavatory are sucked into the air inlet opening 511 via the inlet groove
134. The air inlet tube 51 has a rear end thereof in communication and connected with
an air inlet opening 512, which is located at one side of the stool body 11 and joined
with a discharging channel 512 situated in the stool body 11. The discharging channel
52 is in communication and connected with the discharging pipeline 53 and drawn by
an exhaust fan 54.
[0013] In the aforesaid embodiments, the discharging channel situated in the stool body
and the discharging pipeline between the floor and the wall form a routing pipeline
for drawing and discharging odors. It is certain that the discharging channel can
be replaced by an externally connected pipe. Furthermore, the air inlet can be directly
disposed at an appropriate position at the stool body for drawing air, or can be provided
at an air inlet tube that is in communication and connected with the routing pipeline.
