(57) A carton for packaging a plurality of articles, which carton comprises a first panel
(118,218,330) having a corner; a second panel (114,214,316) neighbouring said first
panel, adjacent edges of said first and second panels being disposed to converge on
said corner; and a gusset (138,338) extending between said adjacent edges and foldably
connected to said first and second panels along said adjacent edges, said gusset comprising
a pair of gusset panels (158,160,358,360) interconnected along a fold line, characterised
in that said first panel has an end panel (128,228,328) foldably connected thereto,
and one (158,358) of said gusset panels comprises means (159,359) for operably abutting
said end panel to help retain said second panel in a formed position upon formation
of said carton.
