(57) A washing machine is described, which comprises an electronic control unit (10) controlling
the operation of said washing machine, a container adaptable to contain a wash liquid,
and an element (8) to heat said wash liquid.
The invention consists in the fact that said control unit (10) operates means (9,9',9")
adapted to regulate the power drawn by said heating element (8) so that it does not
exceed a limit set by the user.
