(57) A box (1) for roll-up awnings, comprising a fixed frame (2) for the longitudinal
support of a roller (3) for rolling up the awning, an actuation element (4) associated
by means of a transmission assembly with the roller (3), and appropriate closure housings.
The closure housing is a laminar element (6) provided with appropriate folding lines,
with a substantially L-shaped profile, and, at the upper anchoring end, with a crest,
which is perpendicular to the profile and is directed toward the inside of the profile.
The fixed frame (2) has an upper front seat, which is shaped complementarily to the
upper anchoring end and has a profile which has a first substantially curved portion
(12) which leads to the frame (2) at an abutment border, the first portion ending
with a second flat portion, which is substantially parallel to the upper face of the
frame (2) and is associated with a third angular portion, in which the surface associated
with the second portion is substantially perpendicular thereto. The box (1) can be
closed at its ends by means of appropriate plugs (21).
