(54) Lamp lighting and battery charging system for a vehicle

(57) Provided is a lamp lighting and battery charging system for a vehicle which can favorably use the electric power produced from the engine-driven electric generator in both lamp lighting and battery charging. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the turning on of the switching device for controlling the electric current of the lamp is gradually delayed so that the time duration of the electric current flowing through the lamp is gradually decreased as the engine speed increases, preventing an excessive electric current from damaging the lamp in the high engine speed range.
