(57) A storage and transportation unit (101) for transporting a plurality of products comprises a rack assembly having a base portion adjusted to fit to a pallet (103) for convenient handling by a fork lift truck, shelf mounting means (104,105,106) for mounting at least one shelf (301,302) and shelf support means for supporting the shelf mounting means, the storage and transportation unit (101) wherein the shelf support means comprises adjustable means for adjusting the height above the base that the shelf mounting means is required to be positioned.
