(57) A draft excluder (1) particularly for doors and windows having a fixed profiled member
(2), which can be anchored to the lower edge of a door and has a hollow transverse
cross-section which is open downward, and a movable profiled member (9), which is
provided with a sealing means (20) and is inserted at least partially in the fixed
profiled member. The movable profiled member is connected to the fixed profiled member
and is provided with an automatic movement means which, by overcoming the action of
an elastic means, moves it from a raised position, which is spaced from the floor,
when the door is open, to a lowered position in contact with the floor, when the door
is closed. The particularity of the present invention is that it includes a detachable
and adjustable abutment means (12) for determining and setting removably the pivoting
point of the coupling means with respect to the fixed profiled member.
