(57) A heat exchanger (1) includes a tank (7, 8) having a seat plate (11) inserted with tubes (2) and a tank forming member (12) connected to the seat plate (11), and a side plate (4), wherein first claws (15) caulked to the tank forming member (12) and second claws (16) caulked to the side plate (4) are provided on an outer edge portion of the seat plate (11), and third claws (17) caulked to the seat plate (11) and the tank forming member (12) are provided on the side plate (4). In the heat exchanger (1), while the processing ability of the seat plate (11) and the side plate (4) can be improved, the connecting strength between the seat plate (11) and the tank forming member (12) can be effectively increased, and ultimately, the pressure resistance and the sealability of the tank (7, 8) can be increased.
