(54) Sunshade umbrella


(57) A sunshade umbrella comprising a sheet (2) movable between an open position in which it is outstretched above a surface to be covered, and a closed position in which it is retracted to a condition of minimum bulk. A supporting pole (3) exhibits an upper end (3a) associated with the sheet (2) and a lower end (3b) associated with a support fixed base (4). The sunshade umbrella is also provided with means (8) for handling the sheet (2) between the respective open and closed positions. The lower end (3b) of the pole (3) is rotatively associated with the fixed base (4) to rotate the pole (3) about a respective horizontal axis (X) between a first position of non-use and a second position of use; the handling means (8) being associated with the lower end (3b) to shift the sheet (2) into the closed position when the pole (3) is in the respective first position, and into the open position when the pole (3) is in the respective second position.
