OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] This invention refers to an easy-open flexible vacuum package for single doses doughy
fluids such as food products like condensed milk whose function is to serve as a vacuum-packed
container for the storage, transport and use of the doughy fluid, extracting the product
contained therein easily, hygienically and quickly by tearing the perforated line
located at one end of the pouch transversally in respect of the longitudinal line
of the pouch which, once torn, opens an orifice located on the side wall which is
connected to the inside of the pouch, thus permitting the doughy fluid to be extracted
hygienically and quickly through this conduit.
[0002] The object of the invention can be applied to any situation requiring dosage of all
types of doughy fluids in single doses, given the hygienic nature, ease of transport,
convenient storage and quick application.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] There are numerous types of containers doughy fluids such as tins, bottles and tubes.
The disadvantage of these types of containers is that the amount of product contained
therein does not correspond to a single dose, thereby having negative effects with
regard to storage, availability and transport and the hygienic conditions of the product
as well as losses, given the system for applying the contents when it must be available
for use continuously in small quantities and by different users.
[0004] The recent types of single dose containers are rigid containers which pose transport
and storage disadvantages inherent to their constitution, and often the systems for
opening and extracting the product are not rapid, simple or precise. On the other
hand, the single-dose container systems of a flexible constitution generally involve
a certain loss of product as a consequence of the system used to apply and extract
the doughy fluid.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The easy-open flexible vacuum container for single doses of doughy fluids proposed
by the invention constitutes an advance in containers for doughy fluids used until
now, in that it improves the conditions for applying, transporting and storing the
product as well as the forms of use and availability of the contents. The product
information can be shown on the outside surface of the container, since it is a single-dose
flexible container, for the use of the contents on a one-time basis, easily transportable
and with a fast opening system by means of a perforated line on one side of the container
which opens a one-way conduit located on the side through which the product is extracted
in a controlled and precise way, while minimising the loss of product due to the funnel-shaped
form of the inside of the conduit. The container is disposed of after use.
[0006] The container can be carried easily by the person who is going to use it given its
proportions, due to its single-dose character and its flexible constitution until
the time of use, at which time the dotted line located at one end of the container,
rectangular in shape, is torn to open a one-way conduit located near one of the corners
of the container, connecting the inside of the container to the outside, thus proceeding
to extract the contents when the user presses lightly on the area opposite the conduit,
so that the quantity of product desired by the user is applied through this conduit,
simply and quickly, after which the user disposes of the container.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0007] To supplement the description given and to facilitate a better understanding of the
characteristics of the invention, based on a preferred embodiment of the invention,
enclosed herewith as an inseparable part of the description is a set of drawings where
the following is represented on an illustrative but non-limiting basis:
Figure 1 shows a ground view of the container of the invention.
Figure 2 shows a ground view of a variation of the object of the invention, in which
the curve (7') adopts a different configuration.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0008] In view of the figure shown, it can be observed that the container (1) composed of
flexible but non-elastic material is preferably rectangular in shape, housing (6)
a closed space of a certain volume in the form of a bag in which the product is contained,
the lower sides (2) being sealed in a coplanar way with the opening area being located
in one of them, which is composed of a perforated line (4) that is torn to open to
container, releasing a one-way conduit (5) whose zone of union with the inside of
the container (6) is funnel-shaped (8) to facilitate the extraction of the product
through this conduit only, the zone on the side of the curve (7) may be a prolongation
of this, located in one of the corners of the container connected to the inside space
(6) containing the product, so that the controlled extraction of the product is enabled
by the user placing pressure on the area opposite the outlet conduit, the side of
the container and the corner opposite the conduit having a curve (7), which may either
by concave only toward the inside of the container or composed of two different sections
in the form of a sinusoid (7') the first being convex in the area where the container
is joined to the output conduit (5) and the second being concave until it joins the
corresponding longer side, which defines a zone (3) sealed to the end to form a funnel
in order to facilitate the extraction of the product and minimise the quantity of
product that is lost and which would not be easily extractable otherwise. The container
is disposed of after the contents are extracted.
1. Easy-open flexible vacuum container for single doses of doughy fluids which, preferably
used for the application of discreet quantities of small volumes of any type of doughy
fluid simply and hygienically, is characterised in that it is made of flexible, non-elastic material, preferably rectangular in shape, housing
on the inside (6) a closed space of a certain volume in the form of a bag which is
used to hold the product, the lower sides (2) sealed in a coplanar fashion with the
opening area being situated in one of them, composed of a perforated line (4) which
is torn to open the container, releasing a one-way conduit (5) whose connection to
the inside of the container (6) is in the shape of a funnel (8) to facilitate the
extraction and dosing of the product through this conduit only, the area on the curved
side (7) may be a prolongation of this, located in one of the corners of the container
connected to the inside space (6) which contains the products, so as to enable the
controlled extraction and dosing of the product by pressure which is exerted by the
user on the zone opposite the outlet conduit, the container having on the outlet side
and the entire corner opposite the conduct a curve (7) concave toward the inside of
the container which defines a zone (3) sealed to the end, in the shape of a funnel
to facilitate the extraction and dosing of the product and minimise the quantity of
product lost, which would not be easily extractable otherwise.
2. Easy-open flexible vacuum container for single doses of doughy fluids according to
claim 1 characterised in that the curve (7') is composed of two different sections in the shape of a sinusoid,
the fist one being convex in the zone of the union with the outlet conduit (5) and
the second one being concave toward the union with the larger side.
