(54) An access member and a system for catheterization of the urinary bladder


(57) In the system an access member (1) is provided, said access member having an outer end (1a) and an inner end (1b). The access member is adapted to extend from the outside of the body through the canal which may be an artificial canal extending from the user's abdominal wall (2) to the bladder (3) and into the bladder, and has at least one cavity extending substantially throughout the length of the access member. The walls of the access member are made from a flexible material.
