(54) Differential torque generator

(57) The application relates to varied torque distribution between driven wheels or driven axles. It provides a differential torque generator comprising a main differential (5) including drive shafts (7RR,7RL) and a supplemental differential (10) including first and second rotary members (14a,14b), driven by a motor (20) and each rotationally connected to the first and second shaft. The drive shafts (7RR,7RL) are arranged coaxially, as are the rotary members (14a,14b). The axes of rotation of the shafts (7RR,7RL) and rotary members (14a,14b), however, do not coincide.
Further independent claims are included for planetary gearsets used for driving the rotary members (14a,14b).
