(57) A fan (1) for mounting in a duct (12), comprising: an outer support (3) which in use fits in the duct; an inner support (4) separated from the outer support by at least one radial member such that an airflow passage is formed between the inner and outer supports; and a motor (5) mounted in vibration damping manner to the inner support, wherein the motor is mounted on at least one central axial shaft (9) and the at least one shaft is mounted in vibration damping manner to the inner support.
