(54)	Drain and overflow device

(57) A drain device for a bathtub comprises a drain assembly, an overflow assembly and a pipe that connects the two assemblies together. The two assemblies each comprise a collecting body and a mounting body, the drain assembly (10) further comprising a plug (17) associated to a bistable mechanism (16) for opening and closing, which can be switched by operating manually on the plug itself. According to the invention, the collecting body (11) and the mounting body (13) of the drain assembly (10) are pre-arranged for being fixed directly to one another, and removably inserted in the waste mounting body (13) of the drain assembly (10) is a supporting member (15), on which the bistable mechanism (16) is fixed.
