OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a doubly-folding advertising stand, from among the
various self-supporting elements used to display advertisements.
[0002] The invention is characterised by a special construction of the stand in two sheets:
the front sheet, provided with two transverse grooves; and the rear sheet, with a
U-shape and provided with internal stiffening tabs, as well as two bellows antagonistic
of the aforementioned grooves.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Advertising stands comprised of two adjoining sheets, one of which bears the advertising
element and the other bearing the display stand, and widely known and used.
[0004] Due to the typical dimensions of the advertising elements, these assemblies are generally
constructed so that they fold along their transverse axis, to facilitate their transport.
[0005] However, the ease of storage and transport, but particularly the ease of loading
and unloading the unitary stands are not extended to their manual transport, due to
the difficulty of embracing and supporting them with the arms for a certain time.
[0006] The applicant is not aware of the existence of other means for displaying publicity
that solve the aforementioned problem, facilitating manual transport, with the simplicity
and efficacy of the invention described below.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The present invention relates to a doubly-folding advertising stand, from among the
various elements for displaying publicity consisting of two sheets, the sheet displaying
the publicity and the rear sheet that supports the former.
[0008] This invention is characterised by a special construction of the stand in two sheets,
a front sheet and a rear sheet, in any configuration thereof, although preferably
the rear sheet will have smaller dimensions that the front sheet.
[0009] The front sheet, with a regular or irregular quadrangular shape, is provided with
two transverse grooves equidistant from its axis, while the rear sheet, with a U-shape,
is provided with at least two internal stiffening tabs that mostly occupy the core
of the U.
[0010] The rear sheet is provided with at least two bellows with their corresponding folding
axes disposed antagonistic to the grooves of the front sheet, in order to accompany
the folding into three parts of the advertising stand assembly.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0011] The present descriptive memory is accompanies by a set of drawings that illustrate
the preferred embodiment and in no way limit the invention.
[0012] Figure 1 is a rear elevation view of the invention, showing the U-shaped sheet in
a folded position.
[0013] Figure 2 is a perspective view of the previous rear elevation view, after unfolding
the U-sheet in its operational position.
[0014] Figure 3 shows a view of the stand of the invention, folded for manual transport.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0015] In view of the above, the present invention relates to a doubly-folding advertising
stand from among elements used to display publicity comprising two sheets, the rear
sheet being a U-shaped support sheet, characterised in that the front sheet (1) has
two grooves (2) equidistant from its transverse axis, while the rear sheet (3), provided
with at least two internal stiffening tabs (4) that wedge the arms (5) of the "U",
is provided with at least two bellows (6) with orifices (7) which are opened by the
user's fingers, with their corresponding folding axes (8) disposed antagonistic to
the grooves (2) of the front sheet (1), and complemented by additional folding lines
(9) equidistant from said axes (8) in order to accompany and facilitate the folding
action into three parts of the advertising stand assembly, while also reinforcing
the sheet (1) at the areas weakened by the grooves (2), compensating this weakening.
[0016] The essence of this invention is not affected by variations in the materials, shape,
size and arrangement of its component elements, described in a non-limiting manner
that should allow its reproduction by an expert in the field.
1. Doubly-folding advertising stand, from among elements used to display publicity comprising
two sheets, the rear sheet being a U-shaped support sheet, characterised in that the front sheet (1) has two grooves (2) equidistant from its transverse axis, while
the rear sheet (3), provided with at least two internal stiffening tabs (4) that wedge
the arms (5) of the "U", is provided with at least two bellows (6) with orifices (7),
their corresponding folding axes (8) being disposed antagonistic to the grooves (2)
of the front sheet (1) and being complemented by additional folding lines (9) equidistant
from said axes (8), accompanying and facilitating the action of folding the advertising
stand assembly into three parts, while also reinforcing the sheet (1) at the areas
weakened by the grooves (2).
