| (54) | Dispenser for web material |
| (57) A dispenser (510) for containing a supply of a first web material (530A) and a supply
of a second web material (530B) and for dispensing portions of the web materials and
severing the portions from the remaining web materials in the dispenser. The dispenser
has a box (512) defined by a series of walls joined together to form an enclosed space
for retaining the web materials. The box (512) includes a recessed area (536) that
is recessed inward of an exterior geometric profile of the box defined by the walls.
The recessed area (536) has a bottom wall having opposite longitudinal edges and a
pair of side walls respectively joined to the opposite longitudinal edges of the bottom
wall. An opening (528) is defined in the bottom wall through which the web materials
can be led out of the box. A first track is affixed in the recessed area (536) proximate
one of the side walls and a second track affixed in the recessed area (536) proximate
the other of the side walls, each track defining a cutter guide. A first cutter (560A)
is engaged with cutter guide of the first track and slidable therealong for cutting
a portion of the first web material (530A) dispensed through the opening and laid
across the first track. A second cutter (560B) is engaged with cutter guide of the
second track and slidable therealong for cutting a portion of the second web material
(530B) dispensed through the opening and laid across the second track.
