(57) The present invention provides a load bearing coupling (10) for particular use in support on outer leaf of a cavity wall on the inner leaf, the coupling comprising a body (12) and a bracket (14) which are each provided with interengaging rows of teeth (30,32) which enable, in use, the body and bracket to be secured relative to one another in a number of vertical positions.
