(54)	Holder assembly for currency, credit cards and like objects

(57) A holder assembly (10) for paper currency, credit cards and other type of currency (20) including an elongated band (12) comprising a plurality of movably interconnected segments (14) extending along a length thereof. A connecting assembly (16) interconnects the plurality of segments (14) and is structured to facilitate expansion or contraction of the band (12) as well as to normally bias the band (12), as well as the plurality of segments (14), into a contracted orientation. In at least one embodiment a coupling assembly (24,24',24'') is connected to the band (12) and is disposed and structured to vary the length of the band (12) such that the longitudinal dimension thereof is adjustable whether the band (12) is in the expanded or contracted orientation.
