(54) Wrist-Flag

(57) The Wrist-flag consists of the flag (1) that carries a hole (4) in one corner edge, the wristband (2) that also carries at least one hole (5), and the chain or ring (3) that joins the flag (1) to the wristband (4). The wristband (2) fits lengthwise on the forearm while the flag (1) hangs from the wristband connected with a chain (3). The waving of the flag can be achieved with the help of the hand and the fingers (6) that supports it instead of a flagpole (7).
The advantages of the Wrist-flag are the easy production and manufacture, low manufacture costs, easy carrying of the flag in and out of the stadium, easy and simple way of use, and complete freedom of movements offered to the users.

Description

[0001] The present invention is referring to a flag (1), which is adjusting to the wrist of the hand, with the support of a wristband (2), and it consists of the flag (1), the wristband (2) and a chain or a ring (3), which joins the flag to the wristband, Figure 1.

[0002] Flags of all kinds on flagpoles are well known and so are wristbands made of various materials (e.g. textile, plastic, metal, leather), as well as chains, rings, hooks are very common. However, the classic flags on poles oblige the carriers to hold them in their hands all the time and results to limit not only their freedom of movement but also the entrance of large poles into the stadiums as it is a danger to public safety.
The purpose of the present invention is to create, with the use of the forearm and fingers (6), a "natural" flagpole (7) for the support of the flag. One edge (4) of the flag is attached to the wristband (2) while the opposite edge (6) is supporting by the fingers, Figure 2. In this way the flag may be waved by the carrier while the user can carry the Wrist-flag easily in and out of the stadium without restricting the movements of the hands.

[0003] The flag (1), according to the invention, which has a hole in one edge corner (4), is attached, with the help of a chain or a ring (3), to the wristband (2), which has also a hole (5), Figure 1.
The carrier whenever he/she wants to wave the flag (1) is holding, with the fingers, the opposite free edge (6) of the flag and he/she is using the forearm as a flagpole (7), without restricting the movements of the hands while he/she is stand by, Figure 2.
According to the above, another way of use this invention is to whirl the flag by holding only the edge with the hole. Additionally, the wristband can fit lengthwise on the forearm, for large size flags, in order to achieve better waving of the flag and carry it easier because the flag doesn't hanging very low.

[0004] The Wrist-flag has many advantages both in its manufacture and in its use. The production line of the Wrist-flag is already know from the parts that it consists of (wristband, chain, flag) that are already producing in a large scale. From its manufacture out of mainly cloth we achieve both safe, easy carrying of the flag and low production costs.
There are also special advantages offered to the users of the Wrist-flag. While "wearing" the Wrist-flag on the arm, the user has complete freedom of movements and can carry it hanging from the wrist. Whenever the user wants to wave the flag, he/she is holding the opposite from the hole edge of the flag with the fingers and waves the flag. In this way, the user is free to wave the flag whenever he/she desires without any obligation to hold any flagpole constantly but leave the flag hanging from the wrist.

[0005] A characteristic of the Wrist-flag, according to the present invention, is that the flag (1), in various sizes and shapes, has a hole (4) in one corner edge in order to achieve the connection with the wristband (2) that also is carrying a hole (5), with the help of a chain or ring (3), Figure 1.

[0006] According to the above, it will be also desirable if the wristband can carry more than one hole in orderto adjust different kind offlags simultaneously.
In the designs attached representing the invention there is one wristband attached with only one flag, however, it could be more than one flags or/and wristbands made of various materials, dimensions and shapes.

In Figure 1 is shown a perspective view of the Wrist-flag.

In Figure 2 is shown a way of using the Wrist-flag.

[0007] In Figure 1, the Wrist-flag consists of the flag (1), that has a hole (4) in one corner edge and is attached, with the help of a chain (3), to the wristband (2), that also carries a hole (5).

[0008] In Figure 2 is presenting a way of use the flag when the wristband is on the wrist of the hand. With the fingers the user supports one edge (6) of the flag (1) while the opposite edge with the hole (4) is attached to the wristband (2) with the help of a chain (3). In this way and with the use of the forearm as a pole can be achieved the waving of the flag.

Claims

1. The Wrist-flag consists of the flag (1) that carries a hole (4) in one corner edge, the wristband (2) that also carries at least one hole (5), and the chain or ring (3) that joins the flag (1) to the wristband (4), and it fits lengthwise on the forearm, Figure 2.
