(54) Rucksack having ventilation function


(57) A rucksack has a pair of shoulder straps (112) attached to a back panel (110), and a ventilation unit (1) including upper and lower fixing panels (10,20), made of synthetic resin, a pair of supporting rods (30) installed between the upper and lower fixing panels, both ends being inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels; and a ventilation plate (50), made of a mesh, spaced from the back panel under the condition that the upper end of the ventilation plate is fixed to the upper portion of the back panel and the lower end of the ventilation plate maintains the elastic power of the lower fixing panel by bending the lower fixing panel in an arc shape using elastic fixtures (40) provided between the lower end of the ventilation plate and the lower fixing panel.




Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION


Field of the Invention



[0001] The present invention relates to a rucksack having a ventilation function, and more particularly to a rucksack having a ventilation function, which prevents a ventilation unit from being twisted, due to an article received in the rucksack, and a wearer's back from being drenched in sweat.

Description of the Related Art



[0002] Generally, a rucksack, which is a kind of bag, is taken by a wearer on his/her back under the condition that articles are received in the rucksack, thus being easily carried. The rucksack includes a back panel formed on one surface, and shoulder straps installed at both sides of the back panel and put on wearer's shoulders, and thus firmly contacts a wearer's body even in activities having live motion, such as climbing or exercise, thereby being conveniently used.

[0003] Since the back panel of the above rucksack is closely adhered to the wearer's back, when the wearer sweats on his/her back due to the activities, such as climbing or exercise, the back panel is then drenched in sweat and cannot be easily dried. Further, heat emitted from the wearer's back cannot be easily discharged to the outside due to the back panel closely adhered to the wearer's back, thus giving the wearer an unpleasant feeling.

[0004] In the case that the wearer continuously wears the rucksack under the condition that the back panel is drenched in sweat, the wearer's back is inflamed and wearer's clothes stink with sweat.

[0005] In order to solve the above problems, a rucksack, which includes a ventilation plate spaced from a back panel so that air is efficiently circulated to a wearer's back, has been contrived and used. Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 8 and 9, such a rucksack will be described.

[0006] As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a conventional rucksack 100 includes a back panel 110, upper and lower supporting panels 120 and 130 having the shape of a flat plate, made of a metal, and formed on upper and lower portions of the back panel 110, a pair of supporters 140 vertically disposed such that both ends of the supporters 140 are respectively supported by the upper and lower supporting panels 120 and 130, and a ventilation plate 50 closely adhered to a wearer's back, made of a mesh, and provided with an upper end fixed to the upper portion of the back panel 110 and a lower end connected to both sides of the lower supporting panel 130 so as to bend the lower supporting panel 130 in an arc shape so that the ventilation plate 50 can be spaced from the back panel 110 at a designated interval and a gap therebetween is well ventilated.

[0007] In the above conventional rucksack, the upper and lower supporting panels 120 and 130 are made of a metal and connected to the back panel 110 using rivets, and thus may be deformed due to the use for a long time. Further, when a heavy article is received in the rucksack, the rucksack may lean to one side of the ventilation plate 50, thereby deteriorating the wearing feeling.

[0008] Since the ventilation plate 50, the upper and lower supporting panels 120 and 130, and the supporters 140 are integrally fixed to the back panel 110, it is not easy to wash the rucksack due to interference of the upper and lower supporting panels 120 and 130 and the supporters 140.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION



[0009] Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a rucksack, which prevents a ventilation unit from being twisted, due to an article received in the rucksack, and a wearer's back from being drenched in sweat.

[0010] It is another object of the present invention to provide a rucksack, which allows a wearer to easily adjust elastic power maintained by bending a lower fixing panel.

[0011] It is another object of the present invention to provide a rucksack, which increases the bearing power of supporting rods so as to minimize the deformation of a back panel in the transversal direction.

[0012] It is another object of the present invention to provide a rucksack, which maximizes the bearing power of supporting rods in all directions.

[0013] It is another object of the present invention to provide a rucksack, which uniformly maintains the elastic power of a lower fixing panel due to the fixation of a ventilation unit and fixes and separates the ventilation unit to and from the lower fixing panel by a simple manner.

[0014] It is another object of the present invention to provide a rucksack, which simply fixes a ventilation unit to a lower fixing panel so as to maintain the elastic power of the lower fixing panel.

[0015] It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a rucksack, which allows a lower fixing panel to be supported at a strong bearing power so as to maintain the elastic power of the lower fixing panel.

[0016] In accordance with the present invention, the above and other objects can be accomplished by the provision of a rucksack with a ventilation function, which has a pair of shoulder straps attached to a back panel, and a ventilation unit for spacing the back panel from a wearer's back, the ventilation unit comprising upper and lower fixing panels, made of synthetic resin, provided on upper and lower portions of the back panel; a pair of supporting rods installed between the upper and lower fixing panels, and provided with both ends respectively inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels so that the supporting rods are supported by the upper and lower fixing panels; and a ventilation plate, made of a mesh, spaced from the back panel under the condition that the upper end of the ventilation plate is fixed to the upper portion of the back panel and the lower end of the ventilation plate maintains the elastic power of the lower fixing panel by bending the lower fixing panel in an arc shape using elastic fixtures provided between the lower end of the ventilation plate and the lower fixing panel.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS



[0018] Now, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the annexed drawings.

[0019] FIG. 1 is a schematic exploded perspective view of a rucksack in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a schematic perspective view of the rucksack of FIG. 1 in an assembled state, and FIG. 3 is a schematic bottom view of the rucksack of FIG. 1.

[0020] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a rucksack 100 of this embodiment includes a receipt part formed therein, a back panel 110 contacting a wearer's back, and a ventilation unit 1 for spacing the wearer's back from the back panel 110 so that air can be efficiently circulated in a gap between the back panel 110 and the wearer's back. Further, the ventilation unit 1 prevents the rucksack 100 from being twisted due to the weight of the rucksack 100, thus preventing the deterioration of the wearing feeling of the rucksack 100.

[0021] The above rucksack 100 includes the back panel 110 formed on one surface so that a wearer can carry the rucksack under the condition that the wearer's back contacts the back panel 110 after bearing shoulder straps 112 on both shoulders.

[0022] The ventilation unit 1 allows the back panel 110 to be spaced from the wearer's back, when the wearer carries the rucksack 100, so that air can be efficiently circulated in the gap between the back panel 110 and the wearer's back, thus preventing the wearer's back from being drenched with sweat and the back panel 110 from being wet with sweat.

[0023] The ventilation unit 1 includes upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20, made of synthetic resin, provided on upper and lower portions of the back panel 110 in the transversal direction by bonding or sewing, a pair of supporting rods 30 installed between the upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20 and provided with both ends respectively inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20 so that the supporting rods 30 can contact the back panel 110 and thus be supported thereby, and a ventilation plate 50, made of a mesh, spaced from the back panel 110 under the condition that the upper end of the ventilation plate 50 is fixed to the upper portion of the back panel 110 and the lower end of the ventilation plate 50 maintains the elastic power of the lower fixing panel 20 by bending the lower fixing panel 20 in an arc shape using elastic fixtures 40 provided between the lower end of the ventilation plate 50 and the lower fixing panel 20.

[0024] The lower fixing panel 20 supports the lower ends of the supporting rods 30 under the condition that the lower ends of the supporting rods are closely attached to the back panel 110, and spaces the ventilation plate 50 from the back panel 110 due to the elastic power. The overall surface of the lower fixing panel 20 is firmly attached to the lower end of the back panel 110, thus preventing the lower fixing panel 20 from drooping even when a heavy article is received in the rucksack 100.

[0025] The upper fixing panel 10 is fixed to the upper end of the back panel 110 parallel to the lower fixing panel 20, and allows the supporting rods 30 between the upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20 to uniformly support the back panel a10, thus preventing the back panel 110 from drooping when the wearer carries the rucksack 100.

[0026] The supporting rods 30 are provided with both ends inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20, and support the back panel 110 so that the back panel 110 can maintain a uniform shape. Further, the supporting rods 30 prevent the rucksack 100, spaced from the wearer's back by the ventilation unit 1, from drooping. Preferably, the supporting rods 30 have a rod shape having elasticity.

[0027] The supporting rods 30 cross each other in an X shape on the rear surface of the back panel 110, and are provided with both ends inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20, thus increasing the bearing power of the back panel 110 and further increasing the repulsive power and the bearing power of the back panel 110 even when the back panel 110 is warped in the transversal direction.

[0028] Preferably, the ventilation unit 1 may include at least one subsidiary supporting rod 32 installed on the rear surface of the back panel 110 in the longitudinal direction of the rucksack 100 and provided with both ends inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20. The subsidiary supporting rod 32 further increases the repulsive power and the bearing power of the back panel 110.

[0029] The ventilation plate 50 is fixed under the condition that it is spaced from the back panel 110, and is closely attached to the wearer's back and allows air to be efficiently circulated to the wearer's back when the wearer carries the rucksack 100. The ventilation plate 50 is made of a mesh, through which air is efficiently circulated, and spaced from the back panel 110 under the condition that the upper end of the ventilation plate 50 is fixed to the upper portion of the back panel 110 and the lower end of the ventilation plate 50 maintains the elastic power of the lower fixing panel 20 by bending the lower fixing panel 20 in an arc shape using the elastic fixtures 40 provided between the lower end of the ventilation plate 50 and the lower fixing panel 20.

[0030] That is, adjustment strings 42, which are sewed on the back panel 110 when the lower fixing panel 20 is fixed to the back panel 110, are respectively inserted into fixing clips 44 formed on the lower portion of the ventilation plate 50 such that a width between the fixing clips 44 is smaller than the length of the lower fixing panel 20, as shown in FIG. 2, and are pulled and fixed. Then, the lower fixing panel 20 is bent in an arc shape by the pulling force, and thus has elastic power. Thereby, the ventilation plate 50 is spaced from the back panel 110, as shown in FIG. 3, thus forming a space, into which air is efficiently circulated.

[0031] In order to adjust the distance between the back panel 110 and the ventilation plate 50, the bending degree of the lower fixing panel 20 is determined by the degree of pulling the adjustment strings 42 by a wearer.

[0032] The overall surface of the lower fixing panel 20 is fixed to the back panel 110. Therefore, although the wearer strenuously moves with the rucksack 100 on his/her back under the condition that a heavy article is received in the rucksack 100, it is possible to prevent the back panel 110 from being twisted or drooping due to the leaning of the article to one side. Thereby, the rucksack 100 of the present invention is comfortably put on by the wearer.

[0033] Preferably, the shoulder straps 112 are attached to the back panel 110 so as to be firmly fixed to the rucksack 100. However, the shoulder straps 112 may be attached to the upper portion of the ventilation plate 50 so as to improve the wearing feeling, and a cushion member may be attached to a part of the ventilation plate 50, which contacts the wearer's shoulders and thus receives strong force applied thereto.

[0034] When the distance between the back panel 110 and the ventilation plate 50 is narrowed due to the lengthening or deforming of the back panel 110, the ventilation plate 50, and the lower fixing panel 20 caused by the use of the rucksack 100 for a long period of time, or the elasticity of the lower fixing panel 20 is reduced, the distance is re-adjusted using the adjustment strings 42 and the fixing clips 44. Thereby, the rucksack 100 can be continuously and conveniently used regardless of the deformation.

[0035] In order to wash the rucksack 100, the ventilation plate 50 is separated from the lower fixing panel 20 by removing the adjustment strings 42 from the fixing clips 44 of the elastic fixtures 40, and then the supporting rods 30 and the subsidiary supporting rod 32 are separated from the upper and lower fixing panels 10 and 20, thereby minimizing the interference in washing the rucksack 100 and thus allowing the rucksack 100 to be easily washed.

Thereby, a wearer can simply fix and separate the lower portion of the ventilation plate 50 to and from the lower fixing panel 20 in a one touch manner.

Here, since the width between the hooking members 40B is narrower than the width between the fastening members 40A, the lower fixing panel 20 is bent in a designated arc shape as much as the difference of widths, and thus maintains the elastic power. Thereby, the ventilation plate 50 is spaced from the back panel 110 at a designated interval, as shown in FIG. 6, and thus air is smoothly circulated through the gap between the ventilation plate 50 and the back panel 110.

[0041] In order to separate the hook member 40B from the fastening member 40A, the hook member 40B is pushed in a direction opposite to the fixing direction, i.e., the ring 48 is pushed to the outside of the groove 46 of the fastening member 40A, thus being simply separated from the groove 46.

[0045] As apparent from the above description, the present invention provides a rucksack having a ventilation function, in which the overall surface of a lower fixing panel of a ventilation unit is integrally fixed to the lower end of a back panel so as to prevent the ventilation unit from being twisted, due to the weight of an article received in the rucksack, and a wearer's back from being drenched in sweat due to use for a long time, thereby not leaning to one side or being twisted due to the spacing between the rucksack and a wearer's back even when a heavy article is received in the rucksack, and thus being stably and comfortably carried by the wearer.

[0046] Further, since a wearer can adjust the elastic power between the back panel and the lower fixing panel using adjustment strings and fixing clips of elastic fixtures, the rucksack of the present invention prevents the deterioration of a ventilating effect of a ventilation plate of the ventilation unit and the twisting of the back panel and the ventilation plate against each other due to the decrease of the elastic power between the back panel and the ventilation plate even when the rucksack is used for a long time.

[0047] Further, the ventilation unit further includes supporting rods crossing each other and at least one subsidiary supporting rod so as to increase the bearing power and thus minimize the deformation of the back panel in the transversal direction, thereby allowing the ventilation plate to stably support the rucksack even when a wearer, carrying the rucksack on his/her back, is in activities having live motion, such as climbing or exercise, and allowing the wearer to comfortably and stably use the rucksack.

[0048] Further, the elastic fixtures for maintaining a designated interval between the back panel and the ventilation plate are simply assembled and disassembled in a hanging manner, such as a one touch manner, thus being easily and simply assembled and disassembled by a wearer and continuously keeping the regular interval between the back panel and the ventilation plate unless any external force is applied to the elastic fixtures.

[0049] Further, since each of the elastic fixtures includes a fastening member with a fastening groove and a hook member with a ring, the ventilation plate is easily attached to and detached from the back panel by the wearer.

[0050] Further, in the case that a supporting unit for maintaining the elastic power of the lower fixing panel is provided on the lower fixing panel, the lower fixing panel is supported at a higher bearing power.

[0051] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.


Claims

1. A rucksack with a ventilation function, which has a pair of shoulder straps attached to a back panel, and a ventilation unit for spacing the back panel from a wearer's back, said ventilation unit comprising:

upper and lower fixing panels, made of synthetic resin, provided on upper and lower portions of the back panel;

a pair of supporting rods installed between the upper and lower fixing panels, and provided with both ends respectively inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels so that the supporting rods are supported by the upper and lower fixing panels; and

a ventilation plate, made of a mesh, spaced from the back panel under the condition that the upper end of the ventilation plate is fixed to the upper portion of the back panel and the lower end of the ventilation plate maintains the elastic power of the lower fixing panel by bending the lower fixing panel in an arc shape using elastic fixtures provided between the lower end of the ventilation plate and the lower fixing panel.


 
2. The rucksack according to claim 1, wherein each of the elastic fixtures includes:

an adjustment string provided with one end sewed at one side of the back panel when the lower fixing panel is fixed to the back panel; and

a fixing clip formed at one side of on the lower portion of the ventilation plate such that a width between the fixing clips of the elastic fixtures is smaller than the length of the lower fixing panel.


 
3. The rucksack according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the supporting rods cross each other, and are closely attached to the back panel.
 
4. The rucksack according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the ventilation unit further comprises at least one subsidiary supporting rod provided with both ends respectively inserted into the upper and lower fixing panels.
 
5. The rucksack according to claim 1, wherein each of the elastic fixtures includes:

a fastening member formed at one side of the lower fixing panel; and

a hook member formed at one side of the ventilation plate such that a width between the hook members of the elastic fixtures is smaller than that between the fastening members of the elastic fixtures.


 
6. The rucksack according of claim 5, wherein the fastening member includes a fastening groove formed through one side thereof such that the hook member is inserted into the groove.
 
7. The rucksack according to claim 5, wherein the hook member includes a ring provided with one side fixed to the ventilation plate by a sewing band and the other opened side, having two terminals, inserted into the fastening member.
 
8. The rucksack according to claim 1 or 5, wherein the ventilation unit further comprises a supporting unit including a fixing groove formed in the lower fixing panel in the longitudinal direction, and an elastic supporting rod, elastically supported in a bent state and connected to the fixing groove.
