| (54) | Printing state automatic switching apparatus and method |
| (57) A printing state automatic switching apparatus includes a printing state switching
unit (10a), abnormal end detection unit (10b), and error recovery unit (10c). The
printing state switching unit (10a) automatically switches the printing state of a
printing press from a first printing state to a second printing state through a plurality
of switching steps. The abnormal end detection unit (10b) detects an abnormal end
of each switching step of automatic switching from the first printing state to the
second printing state. When the abnormal end detection unit (10b) detects an abnormal
end of a switching step, the error recovery unit (10c) receives an error recovery
instruction and eliminates the error of the switching step.
