(54) Device and method for surface treating objects


(57) A device (1) for surface treatment of an object (2), in particular a construction panel, a coating surface (10) of the object being coated with a uniform layer of a coating agent, comprises application means (3) and support means (5), between which said object (2) is to be passed for transferring the coating agent from said application means to the object by contact between said application means (3) and the coating surface, and biasing means arranged to bias said application means (3) and said support means against each other. Said support means (5) comprises at least two individually movable support portions (S-1,S-2) which are arranged over a width of the application means.
Furthermore, a method for surface treatment of an object is disclosed.
