(54) Partition wall and method of construction


(57) An internal partition wall system is formed from panels 12 secured in position between the floor and ceiling 16 by fixings 18. Neighbouring panels 12 meet at their edges 26, 28 to form a boundary of meandering shape, for improved insulation. The fixings 18 locate over the upper edge of the panels 12 and have tags for securing the fixing 18 to the ceiling 16. At the lower edge, a fixing plate may engage the panel 12 by means of teeth.
