(57) A cover plate (1, 11) according to the invention comprises at least one threaded hole (3, 4, 14) for a fastener. The mouths of the threaded hole or holes are on the back side of the cover plate. The mouth of the threaded hole comprises an expansion (8, 13, 17, 18) so that the diameter of the expansion crosswise to the axis of the threaded hole (3, 4, 14) is greater than the outer diameter of the thread in the threaded hole at least in part of the expansion area.
