(54)	Fire extinguishing equipment for mounting on a pressurized container

(57) A fire extinguishing appliance is provided with an automatic release mechanism having a spring (1), which supplies a spring force and is kept tensioned by a release element (3). When the release element (3) is broken because of heating, a physical load or an electrical impact automatically supplies a pressure force to a valve of a pressurized container (6), ensuring that the contents of fire extinguishing particles in the container are distributed via a continuous cavity from the container to a predetermined area.
