(54)	Method for improving the passage of emergency vehicles

(57) The invention relates to a method for improving the passage of emergency vehicles, wherein the emergency vehicle (1) has means (2) for determining the position of the vehicle and a terminal TE (3), connected to the means (2), which can access a wireless access network (4) managing the service for improving the passage. Knowing the position of the emergency vehicle (1), when the latter approaches a reference point RP (6), the network (4) warns the remaining vehicles (7) having a terminal TE (11) and means (10) for determining the position, and which are located at a predetermined distance from said RP (6), either on the same road (8) as the emergency vehicle (1) or on an adjacent road (9), of the presence of the emergency vehicle (1) so that said vehicles (7) clear the path for the emergency vehicle (1).
