(57) An avalanche protection element comprising a protection surface (1), supported by beams (2) connected to a stem (3) at a first portion (31) by connecting means (4) and being further connected to the stem (3) at an end (32) by first tie rods (5) and it further comprises a rod (6; 36) developing in a direction opposite to the stem (3) with respect to the protection surface (1), said rod (6; 36) being apt to support second tie rods (7) connected to the beams (2).
