(54) Method for assemblying of containers made of plastics and laminate material components

(57) A container (2) is made of a bottom portion (4) formed from laminate material such as paperboard laminated with plastics and other materials, connected to an upper portion (8) assembled from a shoulder component (10) joined to a prefabricated neck and cap component (12). The neck and cap component is supplied to a filling line as a closed unit that can be located within a mould that is used to create the shoulder component and join it to the bottom portion of the container by means of in situ injection moulding. In an alternative embodiment the shoulder component is also prefabricated and is connected to the neck and cap component as well as the bottom portion by means of induction heat sealing or ultrasonic welding.
