| (57) An air conditioner including a heat exchanger (21) for air sucked by an air blower
(22), a drain pan (24) for receiving drain water dropping from the heat exchanger
(21), a drain pump (27) for pumping up drain water stocked in the drain pan (24) and
discharging the drain water through a drain hose (27a) to the outside, a gas-liquid
contact member (41) that is disposed at the downstream side of the heat exchanger
(21) in an air flowing direction and supplied with electrolytic water containing active
oxygen specifies so that the electrolytic water infiltrates into the gas-liquid contact
member (41) and brought into contact with the air sucked by the air blower (22) to
filter the air, and a housing (20) in which the heat exchanger, the drain pan, the
drain pump and the gas-liquid contact member are mounted, wherein the electrolytic
water dropped form the gas-liquid contact member is guided to an electrolytic water
receiver (62) which is provided separately from the drain pan, and the electrolytic
water passed through the electrolytic water receiver (62)is made confluent with the
drain water at the downstream side of the drain pump (27).
