(57) An object of the present invention is a heat exchanger for warming up liquids, and
more particularly in central heating installations, enclosing an assembly of elements
being hermetically connected and inside of which the warmed up liquid flows through.
Those elements are placed in a cylindrical jacket, wherein the assembly being provided
with liquid inlet and outlet elements, consists of a series of circular ring shaped
cylindrical elements being vertically and concentrically positioned, forming the ring
shaped spaces being closed in the top and in the bottom, used for the flow of the
warmed up liquid. The cylindrical elements are placed in certain distances from each
other to form ring shaped gaps for the flow of heat exchange medium, and more particularly
the combustion gas, and all closed inner spaces of the ring shaped cylindrical elements
are connected with each other in the bottom and top by means of connector pipes. According
to the present invention, the outer ring shaped cylindrical element (2) forming a
heat exchanger jacket is longer than the other elements and is covered from the top
with a double-walled head, consisting of walls (15, 16), which forms a stabilizing
outlet container (17), wherein there is an inlet connection (14) in the bottom of
the outer ring shaped cylindrical element (2), and an outlet connection (18) is to
be found in the top thereof. The connector pipes (4, 4') as placed in the bottom and
top of the cylindrical elements (2) are radially arranged in a cross-shaped arrangement.
