(57) A churn (1) for processing food products, comprising a rotating drum (2) with an opening (3) for loading and unloading the products, the churn further comprising a hatch (6) provided with means (3a) for detachable coupling to the opening (3) of the drum (2) and comprising ports (6b) adapted to allow the outflow of water deposited on the bottom of the drum (2), means (8) being provided which are adapted to arrange themselves selectively in a position for opening and closing the ports (6b).
