(54) Device for clearing and/or excavating trenches


(57) A device for clearing material from a trench comprises a collecting element (110) for storing cleared material (920) in a collecting volume (112). The device furthermore comprises a rotatable element, which is rotatable about an axis and comprises a screw (200) for moving cleared material. The screw (200) is rotatably arranged about an axis (202) and extends from inside the collecting volume (112) to outside the collecting volume (112) through an opening (120) in the front wall (118). A part of the rotatable element outside the collecting volume (112) protrudes below the bottom side (116).
