(57) The present invention relates to a cleaning device (1) for cleaning flat surfaces, preferably floors, comprising a cleaning head (2) with a substantially flat underside (3) which faces a base (4) to be cleaned. On the underside (3), an element (6) projecting therefrom to space said underside (3) from the base (4) and a cleaning part (5), for instance of microfibres, which contacts said base (4) to be cleaned.
