(54)	A method of wakeup time correction for set-top box systems and set-top box systems using the same

(57) A method of wakeup time correction for set-top box (STB) systems comprises the following steps. A STB system is booted up. A first time and date table (TDT) of a first transponder is retrieved. Each wakeup time of at least one event is set according to the first TDT of the first transponder. Whether the current transponder has changed is determined. A second TDT of the second transponder is retrieved when changing to a second transponder. A time difference between the first TDT and the second TDT is calculated. The wakeup time of each event, at least one event, according to the time difference is corrected.
