COMPOSITE SANITARY DISPENSER FOR USE AS A COMBINED TOILET TISSUE ROLL HOLDER AND WET WIPE HOLDER

Abstract

 The invention relates to a composite sanitary dispenser designed and produced with a view to achieving numerous substantial advantages over existing means used for the same purpose by combining two functions in a single dispenser, namely a toilet tissue roll holder function and a wet wipe holder function. Background to the invention: toilet tissue holders and dispenser have been known for a long time, as have wet wipe dispensers, with their respective advantages and disadvantages, but there is no precedent for a composite dispenser having both of these functions. Ever since wet wipes have been in use in the field of child and adult hygiene, it has been possible to use them in various locations, unlike the dispenser of the present invention. Some wet wipe dispensers are portable and do not have a predetermined location, which is inconvenient because they can be placed wherever one user chooses and as a result be difficult for other users to find. Meanwhile, conventional toilet tissue roll holders that cannot be used to dispense wet wipes are also known.

Description

[0001] The invention combines two functions in a single dispenser, namely a wet wipe holder function and a toilet tissue roll holder function. With respect to the first function, the wet wipe holder has a container for the wet wipes, with an opening lid on top that permits their extraction.

[0002] The second function consists of a toilet tissue roll holder that is made operational by an arm that holds the toilet tissue roll or by a container within which the toilet tissue freely rolls in its interior.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The dispenser has three well defined structures, which are: (1,6) the body of the dispenser (2,3,4) the wet wipe container/holder, and, (5) the toilet tissue roll holder.

Claims

1. The composite sanitary dispenser for use as a combined toilet tissue roll holder and wet wipe holder is composed of the following:

1.1. Dispenser body. This piece has holes for screws to anchor the body of the structure to the wall or to any other surface. This system may also be used to anchor it to a combi dispenser.

1.2. Wet wipe container/holder. Open container for the wet wipes or for the wet wipe pack with a rubber opening for their extraction. This area may be closed with a hinged or sliding lid.

1.3. Toilet tissue roll holder, where in the roll is suspended through a tube that runs across the inter tube of the toilet tissue roll. One end of this piece may or may not have a small disk which has a wider diameter, or a buffer that will keep the roll in place when it is being used. The arm that holds the roll may have an "L" shape, a complete "U" shape, be straight, a "U" shape opened on the side, be semicircular, etc.

2. In accordance to claim 1, the hygienic dispenser is characterized in that may have lid that will permit the replacement of the wet wipes. Such lid may be extractable, fixed or hinged. If it is fixed it must have a frontal, lateral, lower or upper opening that will permit the placing of the new wet wipes. This lid would have an opening through which the individual wet wipes may be extracted, and on top of which there would be a smaller lid that will help to preserve the moister of the wet wipes. Both lids could have either an automatic or a manual opening and closing system.

3. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the aforementioned claims, is characterized in that it may have an opening through which the wet wipes may be extracted, it may or may not have an rubber "asterisk" opening that will help preserve the moister of said wipes and that will better enable that the wipes be extracted in an orderly fashion.

4. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the abovementioned claims, is characterized in that it may be produced in different sizes, and thus offers the possibility to adapt itself to the necessities of different manufacturers and/or brands, as well to different sizes of wet wipes and toilet tissue rolls, and even, for the usage of multiple toilet tissue rolls.

5. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the above claims, is characterized in that may have a cylindrical form so that it may be adapted to a wet wipe dispenser that has such shape.

6. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the claims mentioned above, is characterized in that it may have a toilet tissue roll holder characterized either by an "L" shape, a "U" shape, straight, open "U" shape, etc., it may also be placed in different directions: frontal, lateral or vertical.

7. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the claims mentioned herein, is characterized in that it may have the wet wipe container on top, below, or on either side; its position may be horizontal, vertical or lateral.

8. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the above stated claims, is characterized in that it may be equipped with an ashtray, a light bulb, anti-theft system or air freshener system.

9. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the aforementioned claims, is characterized in that it may be manufactured with a wide variety of materials that can give added value to its design and appearance, such as methacrylate, plastic, metal, alloy, minerals, and other metalic materials etc., or a combination of these, that may be furnished with a wide variety of designs and colors.

10. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the preceding claims, is characterized in that it may have a large circular toilet tissue roll holder for the use industrial hygienic tissue rolls.

11. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the abovementioned claims, is characterized in that it may be equipped with a locking system to prevent the theft of the toilet tissue rolls and/or the wet wipes.

12. The hygienic dispenser, in accordance to the claims stated above, is characterized in that it may be placed in a portable bathroom combi that includes other accessories, such as a toilet cleaning brush, a towel holder, a soap holder, an ashtray, etc.
