OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention model is a container holding beverages, the main features being
that it can be assembled and disassembled, and that it can be put together and/or
assembled in two equal vertical parts mainly due to its mechanism of joining under
pressure to be explained later, achieving an excellent form of dividing beverages
at the moment of utilization by the consumer.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Within the human environment, the consumer has endeavoured to find how to obtain
an effective use for the different types of packaging containing beverages, and how
to be able to differentiate between the wide variety of these containers on the market,
but it has not unfortunately been possible to meet customer needs since only complete
beverage containers forming a single unit exist, failing to comply with the usability
and efficiency which can only be obtained from a container which can be disassembled
to divide beverages. I therefore present a new, more advanced, efficient proposal,
different from that of already-known containers, which is characterized principally
by its special form and configuration which give the beverage container a special
and distinctive nature for the storage and division of different types of beverages
in the same easily assembled and disassembled container.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0003] This invention, which consists of a model package containing beverages, proposes
a new function for the containers already known on the market, its characteristics
concentrating on being able to assemble and disassemble said container by means of
a union under pressure, being able in this way to separate beverages in the same container
and provide the consumer with a broader, more effective and entertaining function,
as compared with the different, already familiar beverage containers.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0004] In order to have a better understanding of the characteristics of the present invention
and to complement the description given, attached hereto as a integral part hereof
are drawings of an illustrative nature but without limitation, representing the following:
Figure 1.- Shows the assembled container in its entirety, as a whole and from the
front.
Figure 2.- Shows the unassembled container in its three parts, as a whole and from
the front.
Figure 3.- Shows the manner of joining the left side of the container to the right
side, viewed from the front.
Figure 4.- Shows the assembled container without a lid, where one can appreciate the
internal division of the container as a whole and from the front.
Figure 5.- Shows the lid of the container as a whole and from the front.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0005] Figure 1 shows the container of the invention as a whole, showing a container (1)
preferably called a yard, consisting of a long hollow left body, (2), a long hollow
right body (3) and an upper lid (8), where the left body (2) consisting of a female
part (5) with a vertical section substantially larger than a male section (4) which
is on the right side (3) of the container, in such a way that the male part (4) can
be introduced in the section corresponding to female part (5) thus achieving a firm
coupling between both bodies which, once assembled, will have an internal division
(7) dividing the beverages and being duly covered by a lid (8) .
[0006] Equally, experts on the subject can vary the configuration of the container (1) of
figure 1, which can be transparent or coloured or the configuration changed to that
of a pilsner.
[0007] Figure 2 shows the completely disassembled container in detail, showing clearly see
the left body (2) of the container with its female part (5), the right body (3) with
its male part (4) and a lid (8).
[0008] Figure 3 shows in detail the manner of joining (6) between the left body (2) and
the right body (3), where the female part (5) has a vertical section substantially
larger than that of the male part (4), in such a way that the male part (4) can be
introduced in the corresponding section of the female part (5) thus achieving a firm
coupling between both bodies in such a way that the bodies, in the process of being
joined, show no unevenness in their external diameters.
[0009] Figure 4 shows the left body in detail (2) duly joined (6) to the right body (3),
thus conforming the assembled container (1) where the internal division (7) of the
container (1) can be clearly seen to separate the beverages inside same once it is
assembled.
[0010] Figure 5 shows the lid (8) of the container in detail, this being circular in shape,
having a diameter larger than the upper part of the container (1) and with two holes
for the insertion of straws.
[0011] As regards the mechanism, one can see, in figure 2, that the container of the invention
can be transported unassembled, which facilitates the issue of storage space since
equal sections can be packed together, more containers transported and, in turn, occupy
a minimum of storage space, so that at the moment this is required, any person can
easily assemble the container for immediate use.

1. Container of yard type, which is formed by three elements: an elongated and hollow
left body with a union; an elongated and hollow right body with another join; and
a lid to cover both bodies once joined together, which has a joining system where
the coupling under pressure is formed by a male part including a vertical part of
a certain height and a female part with a vertical section substantially larger than
the male part, in such a way that this can be introduced in section corresponding
to the female part and thus achieve firm coupling, so that the bodies on being joined
together show no unevenness on their exterior surfaces, characterized in that the left body of the container can be joined to the right body of the container,
and both bodies assembled with an upper lid.
2. Container of yard type according to claim 1, characterized in that the join is a coupling under pressure.
3. Container of the yard type according to claim 1, characterized in that the coupling under pressure is formed by a male part which including a vertical section
of a certain height, and a female part with a vertical section substantially larger
than the male part, in such a way that the latter can be introduced in the corresponding
section to the female part, achieving a firm coupling and providing sufficient stiffness
to the container in use.
4. Container of the yard type according to claim 1, characterized in that the lid is circular in shape and of a diameter larger than the upper part of the
container, and contains two holes for the insertion of straws.
5. Container of the yard type according to claim 1, characterized in that the container is transparent or coloured.
6. Container of the yard type according to claim 1, characterized in that the container is plastic.
7. Container of the yard type according to claim 1, characterized in that the container is of different shapes, such as a yard or a pilsner.
