(54) Pile board for a printing press

(57) A pile board is provided for a printing press, which is waste-free and easy to handle. The sheet pile board (1) comprises a base (10) formed with a resin having a piling face (12) on which the printing media are piled up, and grooves (11) formed on said piling face into which a supporting member can be inserted to support the printing media, and there being a metallic reinforcing member (20) provided in the base (10). The sheet pile board (1), wherein the base (10) is formed with resin, has a lower strength than that of a wooden base, but is significantly strengthened because four metallic pipes (20) are buried in the rear face of the base. Even when piling up a large quantity of heavy printing media, the sheet pile board (1) is properly piled with them and supports them without bending.
